A Day in Manny's Office
THE DANCING MONKEY
Manny goes down to the bar-desk.
-Hey, waitor. Give me 3 beers, and put em up on Max Palace, will ya!
-Okey, here ya go. 3 beers on Max Palace.
Manny takes the beer and goes over to the table where Don and Max is waiting.
-Here ya go, pals. Manny says and puts the beer down on the table and sits down.
-Thanks, Cal. the other says.
Manny looks down on the floor. There lies a 20 dollar bill. Manny takes it, and hands it over to the man, who dropped it, probably on the way.
-Thanks, man. I allways drop…the man looks at Manny and continues with:
-You! You destroyed my Club 13 on Panaka Street.
-Err…no, that wasn´t me. Hehe…I promise. Manny says, but the man answers:
-Let´s settle this up, right now, right here. Shall we?!
Don stands up and goes up to the man and says:
-Hey, back of suit. Manny here couldn´t do such a thing.
-Don Copal…let´s fight for the cause.
-Hey, I remember you. I just didn´t have the time to kill you last time. Don says.
The man drags a Sproutella. Manny gets worried.
-Aha…I´ve got an idea. Manny says and drags out his Sproutella to.
-Freeze, bonehead. Manny says and looks cool. The man points the gun at Manny, but before the man shoots, Manny push the trigger on his gun and the man gets 5 bullets in his head. He lies down on the floor, and all he can say is ”AHHHHH”. He dies.
Max stands up, and goes down to Manny and Don.
-I think we should be going now. he says and Manny answers with:
-Yeah, it´s probably a good idea.
All of them goes down to the main entrance. Manny looks into the bar again and puts down the gun. He opens the doors and goes out…out into the darkness…
