                            /- murray and the sacred skeletal hook-\

note: this is the story of why murray never returned to hell and thus is
written before CMI.

Murray had been recalled to the chambers of hades, he had been told he was
to be given an important mission if he failed his body would be taken away
for eternity and he couldn't bear to see his brand new body be destroyed.
After an hour of breifing from the demon chicken (el pollo diablo) he set
off on his task to bring back the sacred skeletal hook of gangrene george
the most famous skeleton captain in the netherworld roumor had it that
there was another team of undead warriors being led by the infamous
lechicken they were also known to be working for lechimp is plan was to
return to the last known postion of the hook and trace it so he went to the
blood island graveyard (where it can be seen poking out of the coffins) he
got there just in time to see lechicken prising it off the the body of
gangrene george but oh no he was putting it on!!!! But first he would have
to cut of one of his hands he was doing this when in swept Bloodnose the
pirate (the cartogrepher formerly known as wally) ran in grabbed the hook
and knocked over murray  he then returned to his ship both the other teams
could not be bothered to purse as their skeletal legs had been knocked off
and so Murray was marroned on the island as a skull where he was picked up
2 days later by lechuck he then met Guybrush and unknown to him he later
came very close to retreiving the hook as the magical powers bestowed on the
hook never showed themselves to Wally when Guybrush got hold of it he did
not know either and in one version of this story Murrays hand was owned by
Guybrush so he nearly got hold of it there and later when he was hit on the
head with it he nearly had it there and finnaly when he met Guybrush in the
blood island crypt he nearly had it there, as Wally being a good citzen
took the hook which he later found on the beach and instead of giving it to
lechuck as ordered returned it to where he found it in the Blood island
graveyard for this Lechuck strung him up as a park attraction on the
rollercoaster of doom where the hook can still be seen in the graveyard and
Wally can still be seen in the rollercoaster on the final part of the
game!!!!!
